Our office staff is available to assist you with the purchase of a Good Sam membership or renew an expired one. If you prefer, click on the Join Today ad on this page. You will be eligible to use the discount immediately.

Please be sure to add your Good Sam or Military discount (past, present or veteran status) to your reservation. Enter your membership number if you are eligible for Good Sam or your branch of service if you are past/present military or are a veteran. We request you show proof of a valid Good Sam membership or military ID at check-in.

Once your stay has been paid in full we cannot refund unapplied discounts.

Rates

Rates are valid for the current session only and are not guaranteed until the booking is complete.

Rates for RV sites range from $75.00 to $200.00+ and vary based on occupancy, location and amenities.

Rates are based on 4 occupants. There is a $10.00 per day/night charge for each additional person. Day visitors and overnight guests must be registered with the office.
November 1 to March 1 we offer weekly and monthly rates for RV sites. No additional discount applied to our reduced weekly and monthly rates.
Monthly stays may only be booked through our reservations desk at 828.686.4258.
We do not offer seasonal rates.

Guest Information

SPECIAL NOTICE: We do not guarantee site numbers, only site types. Our system optimizes reservations to allow as many guests to enjoy our campground as possible.

Sites are assigned at check-in.

PAYMENT POLICY

All reservations require non-refundable payment in full. Please read our cancellation and refund policies prior to booking your stay.
All reservations carry a non-refundable reservation fee of $9.95.
Holidays and special events require non-refundable payment in full. Most holidays require a minimum three (3) night stay.
All reservations must be secured with a credit card. We no longer accept cash for reservations or in our camp store. Our vending machine and laundry facilities accept cash, coin changers are located in our main building and our 3rd tier laundry facility.

CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY – NO REFUNDS

Daily/Weekly RV Site and Cabin Reservations
- Cancel anytime up to 1:00 pm on the day of arrival!
- *Gift certificates will be issued in the amount of the original
  payment less the non-refundable reservation fee.
- All cancellations or changes must be in writing from the original requestor’s
  email to [email protected]. The subject must include Cancel
  or Change so that it is routed correctly. Phone calls, voicemails or texts
  will not be accepted.
Monthly Reservations
- Monthly reservations are non-refundable. No gift certificates will be issued.
- We recommend changing your dates of stay if we have availability.
- All cancellations or changes must be in writing from the original requestor’s
  email to [email protected]. The subject must include Cancel
  or Change so that it is routed correctly. Phone calls, voicemails or texts
  will not be accepted.
Group Reservations
- Group reservations are non-refundable. No gift certificates will be issued.
- All cancellations or changes must be in writing from the original requestor’s
  email to [email protected]. The subject must include Cancel
  or Change so that it is routed correctly. Phone calls, voicemails or texts
  will not be accepted.
No Shows
- No shows will result in forfeiture of the entire reservation amount.
- No gift certificate will be issued.

REFUND POLICY – NO REFUNDS

No refunds, credit or gift certificates will be issued for early departure, illness, work, ejection from our park or any other reason
No refunds, credit or gift certificates will be issued due to voluntary site moves
No refunds, credit or gift certificates will be issued for unapplied discounts
No gift certificate will be issued for no-shows

Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are valid for one (1) year from the date
of issue and are only good towards a future RV site or lodging reservation.

Our automated system will send a cancellation confirmation as soon as it is
processed. You will receive a second email with the gift certificate. If you do
not receive a cancellation confirmation or gift certificate, please call
828.686.4258.

Reservations Not Eligible for Gift
Certificates:

Reservations made within 24 hours of check-in.
Reservations made with gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Cancellations for reservations made with a gift certificate will result in the forfeiture of all funds.
Monthly reservations.

NOTE: 5th wheels over 35 feet in length must call the office to book reservations.

Additional Information

Unapplied Discounts: No gift certificates or credit will be issued for unapplied discounts once a reservation has been paid in
full.

COVID / Illness: Cancellations follow our normal cancellation policy.

During Your Stay: All purchases, including extra nights, store items, firewood and propane will be charged to the credit card on
file.

Laundry: Our laundry machines accept exact change. There is a change machine in the laundry room available 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week.

Mama Gertie’s Hideaway Campground reserves the right to change our rules, rates, and policies without notice.

By booking a reservation at Mama Gertie’s Hideaway Campground, you acknowledge that there are No Refunds for
any reason and that in lieu of a security deposit, we may charge the credit
card on file for incidentals and damages incurred during your stay.
